Every child has the right to develop their full cognitive, emotional, social and physical potential. Yet too many children are still missing out on the ‘eat, play, and love’ thats needed to develop.
These beauty’s are the kids that come to one of the local creches. Most creches get some governmental support but that is barely enough to keep them afloat. There are very few teachers but a lot of children to take care of. Teachers and schools are often not equipped to assist kids with individual problems.
AL-organisation visits the creches and schools in the area regularly and locates the most vulnerable kids. From there we will find out what we can do to improve their childhood and see how we can give them a better chance in life. That often involves an active participation of parents and/or caregivers.
